Chants and Songs

When you walk through a storm,Hold your head up high,And don't be afraid of the dark.At the end of a storm,There's a golden sky,And the sweet silver song of a lark.Walk on through the wind, Walk on through the rain,Though your dreams be tossed and blown..
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,And you'll never walk alone.......You'll never walk alone.
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,And you'll never walk alone.......You'll never walk alone.

All round the Fields of Anfield Road

Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)

Stevie Heighway on the wing

We had dreams and songs to sing

Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Let me tell you the story of a poor boyWho was sent far away from his homeTo fight for his king and his countryAnd also the old folks back home
So they put him in a Highland divisionSent him off to a far foreign landWhere the flies swarm around in their thousandsAnd there's nothing to see but the sand
In a battle that started next morningUnder a Libyan sunI remember that poor Scouser TommyWho was shot by an old Nazi gun
As he lay on the battlefield dying (dying dying)With the blood rushing out of his head (of his head)As he lay on the battlefield dying (dying dying)These were the last words he said...
Oh...I am a LiverpudlianI come from the Spion KopI like to sing, I like to shoutI get thrown out quite a lot (every week)
We support the team that plays in redA team that we all knowA team that we call LiverpoolAnd to glory we will go
We've won the League, we've won the CupWe've been to Europe tooWe played the Toffees for a laughAnd we left them feeling blue - Five Nil !
One twoOne two threeOne two three fourFive nil !
Rush scored oneRush scored twoRush scored threeAnd Rush scored four

LFCCLT Toast

Here's to us, the mighty Reds,

To all of us, alive and dead.

Here's to the old guard,

Here's to the new.

Here's to the Scouse,

Through and through.

Cheers Lads.

The "Our Scouser"

In honor of the start of the 2014-15 season, I woke up the morning of August 17 with this in my head.

Please know this is done tongue firmly in cheek & in honor of pure Scouse humor.

Besides, I think God has a sense of humor, as shown by the giraffe, the platypus, & Everton FC. So, here goes:

A reading from the book of Fowler, chapter 7, verses 8,9,10

Our father who is in heaven

Bill Shankly is your name

Your players run

because there's trophies to be won

In England as will as in Europe.

Bring us this day our daily goals

& allow us to defeat our foes

as we suffer those who chant against us.

And let sing & chant every match

& know that as a family, we will never walk alone.
